Ocean Park Welcomes Guests and Delegation from Beijing Aquarium to Interact with Nature and Share Our Efforts on Conservation

2010-02-03

(Hong Kong – 3 February 2010) This morning, Ocean Park welcomed nearly 40 Annual Pass holders from the Beijing Aquarium who are visiting the Park through the recently-launched “Ocean Park’s World Attractions Fun Deals” programme, along with 4 representatives from Beijing Aquarium. In an introductory session, Ocean Park's Zoological Operations & Education Director Timothy Ng shared the Park’s conservation and education efforts while the guests all enjoyed an inspiring education program on dolphins. After taking the Ocean Express, which was launched last September, to the Summit area, the guests headed to Sea Jelly Spectacular for a Behind-the-scenes tour at the breeding centre to learn more about the beautiful sea jellies. The group then continued to explore the Park and enjoyed a truly meaningful day.

The “Ocean Park’s World Attractions Fun Deals” is a joint-promotional program between Ocean Park and 13 popular themed attractions across Asia that provides Ocean Park guests with admission discounts at these attractions. At the same time, guests from these attractions can also enjoy discounts when visiting Ocean Park. Since its launch, the program has proved very popular for many guests.
