Ocean Park Celebrates Halloween Fest by Introducing Asia’s First Halloween Collaboration with Doraemon Iconic Japanese Cartoon-themed Culinary Delights served at the first-ever Doraemon-themed Halloween Restaurant Ready to Bring Fun to Families

Being an iconic annual celebration at Ocean Park, the Halloween Fest has been popular among young adults, and to bring this festive atmosphere to families with their little ones, Ocean Park introduces Asia’s first collaboration with Doraemon! From now until 31 October, not only can families get a realm of fun at the Asia’s first-ever Doraemon-themed Halloween attraction, they can also enjoy an array of fun-filled culinary delights from the Doraemon x Ocean Park menu at the newly decorated Doraemon-themed Neptune’s Restaurant and selected kiosk, to reminisce and share childhood memories, while celebrating Halloween with the beloved cartoon character. Kids can also hug Doraemon, while touring around the Park with the variety of specially designed Doraemon merchandise for this year’s Halloween Fest.

During the Halloween Fest period, guests will be greeted by Doraemon as they make their way up to the newly decorated Doraemon-themed Neptune’s Restaurant where they will be surrounded by cute Doraemon décor on walls and on the dining table, and an unobstructed view of the Grand Aquarium's main tank with fish swimming around. As a dining experience for guests of all ages, the chefs at Ocean Park have specially designed four different Doraemon-inspired dining experiences, including the Doraemon X Ocean Park Halloween Fest Set Menu (priced at HK$368 plus 10% service charge). This indulging 4-course set menu starts off with an appetizer of Canadian Lobster Salad with Mango and Cucumber, presented in a playful way where Doraemon sits on the same plate with a strawberry mousse, a Puree of Pumpkin soup, a choice of Broiled U.S. Angus Beef Tenderloin with thick cut chips, ratatouille, and red wine sauce or Pan-seared Queensland Coral Trout Fillet, with mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and green peppercorns sauce, and a delicious Hot Melting Chocolate Pudding for dessert. Guests can also take away with them a limited edition Doraemon x Ocean Park souvenir.

Kids can enjoy the Doraemon x Ocean Park Halloween Fest Kid’s Set Menu (priced at HK$198 plus 10% service charge) which includes an variety of indulging dishes, including Buttered Sweet Corns in Vol-au-vent, Spaghetti with Shredded Chicken in Tangy Tomato Sauce, Battered Cross Trax Potatoes, Cookie, Fresh Fruits Cup, Mini Ice-Cream Cup, and Fresh Fruit Juice served in a limited edition Doraemon x Ocean Park souvenir to keep kids company at the dining table.

To give families an extra opportunity to dine with Doraemon, a Doraemon x Ocean Park Halloween Fest Tea Set Menu, starting at HK$118 to HK$188, plus 10% service charge, will be available at Neptune’s Restaurant. Tea time favourites featured in this menu include Butter Hotcake and Fresh Fruits or Glazed Pineapple Madagascar and Ice Cream, Mini Burger with Butter Hotcake and Cross Cut Fries, Apple Crumble with Fresh Fruits and Japanese Style Sliced Beef with U-Don in Pork Bone Soup. Diners can also enjoy tea or freshly brewed coffee to accompany their tea set. All tea set menu come with a limited edition Doraemon x Ocean Park souvenir as a gift. Guests can choose the Doraemon x Ocean Park A-la-carte Hamburger Steak and Japanese Rice with Curry Sauce for a true Japanese cuisine dining experience.

Those with a heartier appetite may choose to relax and savour a wide range of tea time favourites from the West and East at the scrumptious Doraemon x Ocean Park Halloween Fest Tea Buffet (priced at HK$288 for adults and HK$188 for children, plus 10% service charge) on 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th October, as well as receive a limited edition Doraemon x Ocean Park souvenir as a gift.

For families who want to maximize their Halloween experience after travelling with Doraemon through the Doraemon-themed Halloween attraction at Whiskers Harbour, they can pop over to the neighbouring Clown’s Snacks Food Kiosk for a range of Doraemon-themed gourmet items, including the Doraemon x Ocean Park Kid’s meal which satisfies every child’s cravings with delicious snacks such as a Hotcake printed with Doraemon’s face, Cookie, Chicken Nuggets, French Fries, Buttered Corn on Cob, Ice Cream Cup and a soft drink for HK$108.

Guests can also order an Chocolate Mousse Cake (priced at HK$380, to be ordered 48 hours in advance), decorated with Doraemon and his sister, Dorami, at the Aqua City Bakery.

"Many of us have grown up with Doraemon comics, much like we have with Ocean Park. We are delighted and honoured to have the opportunity to host Doraemon’s first-ever Halloween themed party in Asia; and to create a great range of gourmet menu items inspired by such a beloved character," says Mr. Nick Lee, Senior Food and Beverage Operations Manager, Ocean Park.

Ocean Park’s Doraemon Halloween Party is Asia’s first-ever Doraemon-themed Halloween attraction, catering to the needs of families and kids. For the first time, Doraemon & friends will showcase their new Halloween looks in Asia at the attraction, located in Whiskers Harbour, where families will also be able to visit the Doraemon House of Gadgets, featuring his favourite gadgets such as the "Time Machine" and "Anywhere Door", and take photos with various Doraemon decorations and meet-and-greet the gang of characters.

To ensure that guests get to extend the Halloween spirit after their visit, Ocean Park is also launching a whole range of specially designed Doraemon-themed Halloween merchandise for adults and kids to bring home. The adorable collection includes limited edition Doraemon t-shirts (HK$260), coin bags (HK$69), and Doraemon 4" plush toys – Hong Kong Food Series Collection (HK$69). Guests can also try their luck at the Park’s designated game booths to win fabulous Doraemon prizes, including game plush and stationary kits! Kids are sure to hug these Doraemon prizes tightly as they tour around the Park during the Halloween Fest period!
