Rovers (Aged 6-8) Team Scientist
Oh no! Redd's submarine has broken down! Calling all young scientists to bring their extensive knowledge and marine animal facts learnt in Ocean Park to help Redd conquer his challenge! At Shark Mystique, little scientists will discover the secrets in caring for sharks and rays, and even have a chance to feed them! They'll also learn about the physical characteristics of sea lions or harbor seals by observing them up close, and even touching them! Children will team up to participate in interesting scientific experiments with hands-on experience, working together to complete their missions!
Programme Highlight
- Participate in an educational demonstration of sharks and rays and serve them a delicious breakfast
- Observe and encounter sea lion or spotted seal to learn about their biological characteristics
- Visit Shark Mystique Back-of-House facilities and learn about their daily husbandry
- Discover fun scientific knowledge by engaging in interesting scientific experiments and hands-on experiences
- Raise understanding of Bionics through knowledge of various marine animals
Programme Content
- Participate in shark and ray educational demonstration at Grand Aquarium
- Visit the Back-of-house facility of Shark Mystique and prepare food for shark and ray
- Take part in patting of the sea lion or spotted seal
- Learn fun scientific knowledge by engaging in interesting scientific experiments and hands-on experiences
- Visit different exhibits to learn in-depth knowledge related to marine animals and raise the understanding of bionics

- Enrolment deadline: 7 days before the commencement of each class.
- Enrolment will be postponed for 1 day if the following circumstances occur at 12:00nn:
- Tropical Cyclone Signal Number 8 or above is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory;
- Black Rainstorm Warning is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.
- The selected programme code, date, time, meal's selection (if applicable), and participant's name and email cannot be changed or rescheduled. All payments made are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Please make sure the programme dates fit in participant's schedule before enrolment.
- Parents will receive a confirmation letter via email once the payment has been received. Please pay attention to the spam or junk mailboxes of your email account.
