Ocean Park's Prestigious Gold Rating from CrescentRating and Halal-Certified Restaurants Revealed

As a world-class tourist destination, Ocean Park has been awarded the prestigious Gold rating by CrescentRating, the world's leading consultants on Muslim-friendly tourism. Additionally, several in-park restaurants have been certified as Halal Friendly Restaurant by the Incorporated Trustees of the Islamic Community Fund of Hong Kong (Board of Trustees, BOT). These achievements underscore our commitment to providing inclusive and welcoming experiences for all our visitors. From facilities to dining experiences, at Ocean Park, we are dedicated to providing a welcoming environment for Muslim Travelers.

CrescentRating and the Gold Rating

CrescentRating's rating program is a globally recognized independent standard and accreditation service for hotels, attractions, and shopping malls. Initiated by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, this program aims to promote Hong Kong as a premier Muslim-friendly tourism destination. After undergoing a rigorous in-person audit by CrescentRating in November 2024, Ocean Park successfully obtained the Gold rating, the highest rating, making us one of only two attractions in Hong Kong to achieve this prestigious recognition.

Muslim-Friendly Facilities at Ocean Park

Muslim-friendly Washroom

For added convenience, our water-friendly washroom is equipped with ablution facilities and handheld bidet showers. Look for the signage on the toilet door to easily identify these facilities.

Prayer Room

We offer well-equipped prayer room to cater to the needs of our Muslim guests.

This prayer room include a Qibla indicator, prayer mats, ablution facilities, women’s prayer clothes, prayer time display, and separate areas for men and women that can accommodate 2-3 people respectively.

Ocean Park is proud to offer a selection of Halal-certified food outlets that strictly adhere to Halal practices. This means our kitchens do not use any non-halal food items or alcohol in cooking, and no non-halal food or alcohol is served in dining areas. We also offer Halal-certified food in Water World.
