The programmes aim to stimulate students' interest in exploring the environment, as well as discovering the interdependence of nature and humans. Collaborative learning is applied to encourage students to investigate the nature in which the content integrates themes and topics from the Primary Humanities & Science curriculum, serving as supplementary learning materials to facilitate students’ understanding in the relationship between the environment and organisms.

Panda Protectors

  • Observe and explore the behaviours and habitats of giant pandas, investigating the relationship between their distribution and China's geographical features

  • Learn about threats faced by giant pandas and ongoing conservation efforts through interactive games, nurturing ecological awareness

  • Programme Format: Interactive board game; Giant panda observation

Panda Nutritionist

  • Study through games the digestive system of giant pandas and the importance of food nutrients​

  • Explore the relationship between giant pandas’ diet and their habitats to cultivate a deeper concern for environmental conservation

  • Programme Format: Exhibition tour; Interactive game about food nutrients

Coral Rescue Team

  • Learn about the structure of corals in Hong Kong; Understand the coral ecosystem and coral conservation actions conducted by Ocean Park

  • Conduct science experiment to discover the threats of corals and discuss ways on coral conservation

  • Programme Format: ⁠Coral observation; Science experiments

Meet Marine Animals

  • Visit Grand Aquarium and observe seashore animals in close proximity and appreciate their extraordinary unique body features

  • Unravel the interconnection between marine animals in the food chain through giant jenga game

  • Programme Format: Giant jenga game on marine food chain; Marine animal observation and encounter

Exploration with Dolphins

  • Participate in group activities to study the similarities and differences between dolphins, humans and other marine animals

  • Learn about dolphins' extraordinary senses through an animal educational demonstration and be inspired to investigate other animals' special senses as well as their societal applications

  • Programme Format: Dolphin educational demonstration; Dolphins' characteristics investigation

Coastal Adventure

  • Find out the duties of animal caretakers and the secrets of their close bonding with seals through observation

  • Explore daily products or designs that are inspired by nature through an interactive game, and discover ways to live sustainably

  • Programme Format: Seal educational demonstration; Interactive activities

^ Programme fee includes education programme and 1-hour self-visit at the Park.

Ocean Park issues 1 accompanying teacher ticket for every 10 student tickets purchased per group, so they can accompany students to the programme. An extra fee applies for any additional teacher to enter the Park, and the fee does not include the participation of the programme. Students cannot use the teacher admission tickets, and vice versa. All participants are expected to leave Ocean Park after the education programme. Participants who would like to remain at the Park and enjoy its facilities after the programme must apply in advance and pay a stay-behind surcharge.

Students participating in primary programmes can get a copy of the Orienteering Mission Worksheet for HK$20! Students who pay the stay-behind surcharge can get it for FREE.

The programme fees are valid until 31 August 2026.

** One-way travelling time between the Ocean Park Main Entrance and The Summit is about 45 minutes. Please allow sufficient time to reach the programme location and return from Ocean Park.

All participants should enter Ocean Park at the same time. Teachers should approach our Ticketing Office for the admission procedure upon arrival at Ocean Park. Please then proceed to the designated gathering location as explained in the Confirmation Letter.
