Panda Twins Fan Club - Past Event

Each year, the Foundation collaborates with the Sichuan Giant Panda Research Team, providing university students with the opportunity to form teams and participate in conservation and research efforts for wild giant pandas. This includes tasks related to giant panda reintroduction, including health checks and monitoring after their release. This time, Fan Club has invited two youth conservationists, Shirley (Year 2019-20) and Lucinda (Year 2024-25), to share their valuable experiences and insights on how they transitioned into the field of conservation. They will also visit the giant panda twins together!

The new event will be held through online enrollment starting on 3 November 2025 at 11:00 am. Quotas are limited to 120, on a first-come, first-served basis. Members who successfully enroll will receive a confirmation email by 7 November 2025.

To celebrate the giant panda twins’ first birthday, the Park is hosting a celebration exclusive for members on 15 August 2025! On the day of the event, the documentary trailer of the giant panda twins will be premiered, with Caretakers sharing updates about Elder Sister "Jia Jia" and Little Brother "De De" as well as a private visit to see the giant pandas at a designated session! Each participant will receive Pepper Pork Bone Soup Noodle (souvenir version) sponsored by Wing Lok Noodles Factory (retail value: HK$78), a Ocean Park Elder Sister “Jia Jia” & Little Brother “De De” Luggage Tag (retail value: HK$80). How to participate:

Enrollment will begin on 30 July 2025 at 11 am, on a first-come, first-served basis.

You will automatically receive a confirmation email while the quota remains available. Please present the confirmation email along with your Annual Membership or Panda Twins Fan Club membership to enter the event venue.

The new Caretakers Private Tour will be held through online enrollment. Quotas are limited to 200, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Members who successfully enroll will receive a confirmation email and may join the event at the designated session, where Giant Panda caretakers will guide you to visit the "Elder Sister" and "Little Brother", meanwhile sharing their professional knowledge and providing further insights into the lesser-known aspects of the giant panda twins' lives!
