Ocean Park Conservation Alliance

Ocean Park has always been committed to conservation and education as the cornerstone of its development, and has been dedicated to connecting people with nature. To promote community collaboration and public participation, Ocean Park launched a new conservation advocacy campaign named "Mission R" in 2023.

"Mission R" is inspired by International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) global initiative to ensure biodiversity. From 2023, over 700 schools have become members of " Ocean Park Conservation Alliance" (" Member School ") under " Mission R ", advocating conservation actions on campus based on the three visions. In 2026-2028 academic year, Ocean Park is continuously funded by Environment and Conservation Fund. By joining the "Environment and Conservation Fund X Ocean Park: Waste Reduction Education Programme for Early Childhood" project, Ocean Park will be providing a series of kindergarten-exclusive teaching resources and activities.

Seahorse Rangers

“Ocean Park Conservation Alliance” established “Seahorse Rangers”, aiming to provide different conservation related activities and learning resources for the “Member Schools”. In order to deepen the learning experience and broaden the participation, a brand-new conservation education framework will be launched in the 2026-27 academic year, “Seahorse Rangers” will be divided into two tiers, details are as follows:

Basic Member School	Register for free to become a member of "Ocean Park Conservation Alliance" and participate in four flagship activities, and compete for the awards.
Seahorse Rangers (Revised)	Enjoy a special offer of $280 (original price: $980) to join the brand new “Conservation Leadership Award Scheme” to participate in our advanced conservation workshops and training, qualify to be a conservation leader by achieving badges. To facilitate the promotion of “Seahorse Rangers (Revised)” in schools, we are offering free participation opportunities for up to 10 students and 1 responsible teacher from each “Member School" *Kindergartens and special schools are eligible for up to two complimentary places for teachers-in-charge.

“Ocean Park Conservation Alliance” will organize Inauguration Ceremony in January 2027. Students will pledge to become “Seahorse Rangers”, committing to promote conservation messages to classmates, families and the public with their own effort, and embark on the journey of conservation.

“Member schools” will be awarded "Ocean Park Conservation Alliance Outstanding School" trophy after completing all required missions of the 4 flagship activities.

Ocean Park Conservation Carnival

"Ocean Park Conservation Alliance" will host the "Ocean Park Conservation Carnival" in early July 2027 to showcase and share the ideas and experiences on conservation activities gained by "Member School" throughout the academic year.
