Ocean Park Annual Members can visit the park with your beloved fur baby for free! Stroll along Waterfront and Old Hong Kong, then ride the Ocean Express to the Summit to visit the adorable sea lions at the Pacific Pier. Don't forget to take a photo of your fur baby with the giant "marine superstar" behind!

Summit - Rainforest, Thrill Mountain, Pacific Pier (limited to G/F only - need to use the stairs) and The Terrace Café (outdoor restaurant)

Transportation - Ocean Express*

*All dogs are required to wear a mask when traveling on Ocean Express or ride in a pet cart, put in a pet bag or carried by the participant.

Our three restaurants within the park are now open to dogs. All dogs entering the restaurant must be microchipped and have a proof of a valid rabies vaccination. Dogs must be leashed by an adult (leash no more than 1.5 metres) or securely tethered to a designated fixture within the restaurant.

 

Location: Ginger Grill, Aqua City Bakery (outdoor) and The Terrace Café (outdoor restaurant)

 

*Dogs entering the restaurant must not be “fighting dogs” or “known dangerous dogs”. Please read the Terms and Conditions.

Terms and Conditions

Important Notes

  1. Each dog must be accompanied by a participant over 12 years old and each participant can only bring ONE dog for the event.

  2. Participants are required to present a valid dog license and the soft copy of dog's vaccine record at the entrance of Ocean Park on event day for verification purpose. All dog(s) must be implanted with a microchip and must be on leashes during the event.

  3. In order to provide a spacious and well-ordered environment, Ocean Park will implement capacity control on the number of visitors and dogs, and the capacity will be on a first-come, first-served basis. If the maximum capacity is reached, visitors and their dogs will not be able to admit the Park.

Event Terms and Conditions

For the health and safety of all participants and staff, every participant must meet the following Rules and Regulations in order to participate in the programme. Participants must be aware that such programme involves a degree of unpredictability, where quick reactions and strict attention to directions from the Park's staff are essential. If at any time during the programme, any participant is assessed by the Park's staff as not being able to fulfil the following criteria, he/she will be asked to leave the Park and he/she must immediately comply with such directions.

  1. The Public Health (Animals and Birds) Ordinance (Cap.139), the Dogs and Cats Ordinance (Cap. 167), the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Ordinance (cap. 169), the Rabies Ordinance (Cap. 421) and the Protection of Endangered Species of Animals and Plants Ordinance (Cap. 586), and their subsidiary legislations and all other relevant legislations must be fully complied with at all times.

  2. All dogs must be fully vaccinated against common infectious diseases at least 14 days prior to the event, which include:

    • Canine distemper,

    • Canine parvovirus, and

    • Any such additional diseases as the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department may consider appropriate.

  3. All dogs must have been duly inoculated against rabies and be accompanied by a valid dog license issued by Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department. All dogs must be implanted with a microchip for identification and must be scanned upon entry.

  4. Ocean Park reserves the right to deny any dog to enter the Park if:

    • microchip is not found and/or vaccine status is not clear;

    • the dog is showing signs of illness;

    • the dog is showing aggression toward any dog(s) or person(s);

    • the dog cannot be controlled by the owner or handler.

  5. Each dog must be accompanied by a participant over 12 years old and each participant can only bring ONE dog for the event.

  6. Participants should pay attention to the safety of themselves and their dogs, and keep their dogs under control effectively, in order not to cause any loss of dogs, nuisance or danger to other people and dogs.

  7. All dogs must remain on leashes inside the Park at all times. For dogs over 20kg they should be on leashes of not more than 2m in length.

  8. If the dog belongs to either Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiroor a cross involving any of these breeds i.e. fighting dogs or known as a dangerous dog, muzzle is required and it should be on a leash not more than 1.5m in length. These breeds of dogs are not allowed to board the Ocean Express and enter any restaurants.

  9. Participants and their dogs are only allowed to stay in designated areas, and these areas will also be opened to all guests. Dogs are not allowed on rides, animal exhibits (except North Pole Encounter and Pacific Pier underwater gallery), Cable Car and any restaurants (except assigned seat at Ginger Grill, Aqua City Bakery and Terrace Café).

  10. Dogs entering permitted restaurants must comply with The Food Business Regulation (Cap. 132X) and their subsidiary legislations and all other relevant legislations at all times.

  11. Muzzle must be applied to all dogs on the ground inside Ocean Express, otherwise dogs must be pick up by their owner or carried in pet cart/bag.

  12. Participants should bring their own drinkable water and water bowl for their dogs. Participants may also buy bottled water or use the drinking fountain inside the Park to refill drinkable water.

  13. Please keep the environment clean and hygienic, do not allow the dogs to foul indiscriminately. Dog latrines are provided in the Park during event period opposite to Aqua City First Aid Post, near Ginger Grill, outside Bakery’s toilet and at Old Hong Kong Entrance at The Waterfront and opposite to Ocean Express, outside of North Pole Encounter and near Cable Car Wheelchair Access at The Summit. Please clean up after use and dispose the excrement in the dog excreta collection bin.

  14. The Park has a maximum capacity for dogs at any given time, when the Park has reached its maximum capacity for dogs, the Park will perform capacity control in an one-in one-out basis.
