Ocean Park Conservation Chill Club Ambassador Scheme

Introduction and Content:

Ocean Park Conservation Chill Club Ambassador Scheme offers university students a brand-new experience in Ocean Park. Being an education ambassador, you are going to share animal and conservation knowledge to the general public, at the same time having valuable firsthand experience in conservation. Throughout the programme, not only do you understand how to protect local species and what Ocean Park has been working on conservation, you will also gain soft skills and expand your social circle. Outstanding ambassadors are entitled to a chance to join an overseas eco-tour. This programme is supported by the Tourism Commission. Field visits are implemented by Outdoor Discovery (License No. : 352928).

  • Take part in local conservation and education
  • Gain knowledge and experience in animal conservation
  • Participate and organise conservation and education activities
  • Boost up soft skills, eg. presentation and communication skills
  • Get a Certificate of Participation
  • Join a free Ocean Park “Get Closer to Animals” Programme
  • Receive a certain amount of subsidy if criteria and attendance requirements are fulfilled
  • Is entitled to a chance to join an overseas eco tour

Announcement of outstanding ambassador list
Jun 2021 Overseas eco tour for shortlisted ambassadors

Eligibility:

  • Aged between 17 and 29
  • Undergraduates or above currently studying full time in a local university
  • Passionate in promoting conservation and gaining off-campus experience in a theme park

Free of charge

Interview:

Group interviews will be conducted from 6 to 8 February 2021. Shortlisted applicants will be notified via phone or email by end of February 2021. You may consider your application as unsuccessful if you do not hear from us by the end of February 2021.
